It was total chance... it was one of thoe Travelocity Top Secret hotels.
It was a great hotel; located downtown. Plenty of free parking (much covered parking which was great due to the snow).
The rooms were a great size and the interior was a bit "hip" and modern.
We actually had to check out a day early due to the storms and upcoming flight cancellations... and the manager offered to "hold" the one night of our non-refundable reservation for the next time we come to town. Cannot beat southern hospitality.
wharvey definitely knows what he's talking about. Visiting my alma mater last winter I also stayed here 2 nights. My stay was almost immaculate. Terrific staff and services all around.
I have also stayed at the Cambria Suites Minneapolis, which did not disappoint as well.
