Phone found on Jet Airways in India - How to Retrieve?

Long story of how my mobile ended up being found on a Jet Airways flight in Bengaluru, but it was. An airline employee found it, the office in BLR called the last number dialed (a colleague of mine in Manipur) and she e-mailed me with the information,

Unfortunately, I'm in Hong Kong right now on my way to the US in a few days. I just spoke with the office at BLR and they'd be happy for me to go pick it up in person. Of course, that is not feasible.

They're checking whether they can put it on a (actually connecting) flights to Hong Kong so I can pick it up here at the airport. I've also offered to pay for Fedex (or other shipping method) via credit card. They're checking with the manager to see what they can do and I'm supposed to call back in a couple of hours.

If for some reason neither of these options works for the, does anyone have any suggestions as to what would be reasonable for me to request? I'd just like to be prepared with other options during the call.

I don't even mind kissing the mobile goodbye (though it's a decent unlocked Android phone), it's the information that is in it (lots of mobile numbers I collected during the summer in Asia) that I can't easily replace.
