I didn't say it will pass the Congress, I said that they seem to have come to a compromise to continue funding the FAA. Ostensibly this will allow people to go back to work & will allow $30 million in estimated daily ticket taxes to start going back into the coffers. Apparently both sides agree that a $1 billion potential loss is a big deal, bigger than partisan political bickering.

From a CNN report (or consult your media outlet of choice, it's being widely reported):
"This agreement does not resolve the important differences that still remain," Reid said in a written statement. "But I believe we should keep Americans working while Congress settles its differences, and this agreement will do exactly that."
