LHR-DUS-TXL: There is a nonstop service LHR-TXL and you can book these flights as LH45xx are not excluded.</font>
I'm travelling in early September, and neither I nor my travel agent could find any direct flights LHR-TXL, or even LCY-THF which used to exist before the last round of service reductions. If anyone has any information to the contrary regradin that, I'd love to hear it!

I see your logic, however my partner is not coming with me on the sidetrip to Berlin, and we'd like to travel together for the long haul sectors. This means either he comes to FRA or I go back via LHR - and he's not the one obsessed about miles, points and status (my trip will just get me to *G for the first time) so you do the math!
For anyone interested, my itinerary did turn out to be quite a bit over the MPM, so has been modified to:
SYD-SEL-KIX (stop) ITM-HND (stop) NRT-LHR (stop) LHR-DUS-TXL (stop) TXL-FRA-LHR-YVR-HNL (stop) HNL-SYD.
I was worried that this put me over the maximum stopover limit (my reading of the rules seemed to indicate that the origin/destination counted as one of your allowable stopovers) but my TA seems to be happy with it so we'll see what happens.
