The issue with electronic devices, like an eReader (Kindle or iPad) is how does the FA know if its wireless service is deactivated? Once airborne, it is near impossible to get a 3G signal, so not as big an issue. So I'm OK with storing all electronic devices for take-off and landing.

Now I'm hoping AC picks a different AV system for Executive First that would allow those PAX to start watching while on the ground, like Y-Class PAX. Maybe they will pick a better system for the 787s.
