Since I pay my own expenses, I frequently stay at the Choice Hotel chain when on business, especially when they have "STAY TWO GET ONE NIGHT FREE". That's pretty darn good. Most are Comfort Inn hotels, or Quality Inn, Sleep Inn, or Comfort Suites.

I recently have been staying at the slightly upscale chain "Cambria Suites". I have to say, I've been pretty impressed. These are similar, IMO, to Novotel in Europe.
A cut above the fray, however, not true luxury. And, they QUALIFY for the "Stay two and get one night free" promotion
Unfortunately, they are only in 12 states at present, from Colorado to Florida, catch-can. They are spread pretty thin.

Anyone tried them?
