Going to a private room is not standard TSA policy..at least not in PHX...in the terminal (Terminal 2?) that UA/CO uses..and apparantly
neither is a second testing..

I had to change terminals from US earlier this year & go through security again at Terminal 2..First thing where they usually ask for your boarding pass & ID they were swabing everyone's hands..never seen that before..

I opted out of the n-o-s and they weren't happy about that. They gave me the pat-down & the guy tested his gloves & the three of them all jumped into heightened alert mode...I asked the supervisor just what they claimed I had tested positive for...he said glycerin..they did NOT retest me at all, but proceded to paw through everything in my two carry-ons..nothing there set off their equipment so they said adios after that..
