Anyone have any recommendations for mobile wifi devices so I can tether my laptop and tablet without having to worry about exceeding my iPhone data plan?

I'll be in and out of UK hotels through the next few months and would rather avoid the ridiculous fees most charge. I'd rather have unlimited or at least a high data allowance so that I don't run into problems if my computer decides to auto update.
