Hello all

Honeymoon planning. We are set on the Maldives.

Missus does have one criteria that we stay in water / lagoon villa. Ideally would like the following as well:

- Good house reef
- AI (or at least don't want to get totally ripped off on food and soft drinks)
- Reasonably close boat ride from Male
- If possible free internet connection (ideally in room)

We are planning on going for four nights. We appreciate Maldives isn't the cheapest place in the world but at the same time we are not flash with cash. I think our budget is around US$500 a night, give or take a few hundred.

I did get quite a competitive quote for the Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru, but missus isn't keen as they don't have any water villas.

Any other thoughts?
