Applied for both Amex Premier Rewards Gold and Platinum July 30th and July 31st. Received both cards yesterday. Called MR, answer was flat out "no" and I only get the mile points I applied for. Within a minute or 2, I called again and asked for bump for Platinum. No problem . With same CS, I asked for the PRG, no problem. Called today to confirm the codes, mileage points and minimum spending. CS confirmed the bumping of 75k for PRG, 100k for Platinum
