DW called last night about a problem with an international award stay. She has 1.5m Hilton points in her bank and is diamond every year, but I'm seriously thinking of telling her to move to Hyatt and we can just burn the points over time.

And the saga continues. To be fair, the supe has been responsive but this really shouldn't be that difficult.
The rest: The supervisor emailed DW and told her that she would only get a thousand points, since it was an award stay. My wife explained that she didn't care about the bonus points, she just wanted the points for incidentals we had at the hotel (around $300). The supervisor put a goodwill adjustment in her account of 3,000 points, but didn't bother to code them so that they would count toward her Diamond status (My wife makes Diamond on points each year.). DW sent her yet another email...
