Please help:

1. Flying AGP to MIA, ba.com says to land in Gatwick and then transfer to LHR. Why not is it not suggesting to use Iberia directly to LHR? eg. IB8067 and IB3162 arrives at LHR 10:15, in good time before 13:35 BA0209.

2. Surely it must be a major hassle to move from Gatwick to LHR? Do i have to transfer bags myself, chekin again also?

3. For Execute Club Silver qualification it says "4 BA flights". Does it have to be BA plane or will Iberia qualify as well (sold and operated by Iberia)? It seems like i get the Tier Points even if it is Iberia?
