Like sjharte & Chiangi said, at the end of the day we will see if the *A board stays attractive and therefore gets a lot of valued contribution. After a while, Randy and his crew can decide if it was worth establish moderation on the *A board at all or – more specifically - if I did more harm than good and he will replace me.

Looking at the number of your replies, this is a very hot topic on our forum. But looking at the content and the wording of the last posts, I tend to believe that the discussion has moved from the intention of the opener (“over-moderated board”).

This is the reason why I am closing this thread now. I really do hope that all of you play an active role in this generic forum and contribute extensively on topics like
