You can try a dummy booking for First in that flight. If it lists an option to buy the ticket, then clearly there is a First cabin.
Just as an aside, I made a complete mess of the original booking and ended up with no miles/TPs as I booked with miles and cash rather than miles and upgrade. Even the simplest tasks can somnetimes be beyond me!
