Your Card comes with OnePass Plus Protection and Services.*

Travel Protection. You receive car rental collision-damage waivers on a primary basis, baggage delay and lost luggage reimbursement, trip-cancellation insurance, roadside assistance and more.

Also, I'm by no means an insurance expert but if someone doesn't have primary insurance, wouldn't a secondary policy become a primary policy by default?
Well, you can't have a secondary anything without a primary one.

One thing to keep in mind, the coverage provided by the credit card is collision-damage only. You would still not have liability insurance (well, if you carry an umbrella policy, sure).

You can talk to an agent, toll-free number, or search online for a named-operator policy (sometimes called a non-owner policy) that can provide you better coverage without breaking the bank.
