You can't do OAK-LAX as OAK/SFO are considered same city.. I suggest you try something like:

SYD-SFO-SEA-ORD-FRA.... etc

if you have the miles

otherwise SYD-SFO-LAX-xSFO-FRA(etc)

the SFO-LAX-SFO turns will yield 1,000 status miles at the cost of about 750 actual.
