As far as I know you were NEVER able to redeposit a partially used award ticket, so nothing has really changed in that aspect. I think a lot of you are reading way too much in to this new policy. At the end of the day it is probably only going to affect very few people...

Exactly. Some people want to equate redeposits with reissues just because DL redeposits miles and then takes miles out of your account. But that is a bookkeeping function, nothing more.
In all fairness, why didn't Michelle just say that? It wasn't like we hadn't worded the question clearly.
