You might be better off going through friends or connections to find a good high end shop that will do rental for you for three weeks... I know it isn't the same as having your board, but it will save you money and a huge hassle. Your credit card should insure it for damage too. You could ask around on the boards on NSR or do some google homework to set it up before you go.
