This. And I predict when it happens we'll see the end of AFS F. The way the market is going today, I don't see AA investing in converting the 763s back to 3-class, particularly if the current 763 J seats can't easily be modified to only have 50in pitch (or those become F and the current 762 J seats go in as J, in which case I'd pay MORE for J than F).

By the same count, I couldn't imagine them converting 757s to 3-class. UA's planes have two fewer total premium seats (2 more in F, 4 less in J; NOT the way AA wants to weight its premium cabins, IMO) and considerably fewer Y seats which, given the hub status of JFK and LAX as well as all the int'l connections at JFK, seems a losing proposition (cost aside).
