My issue is with Marriott CS doing nothing through out everything and refusing to let me talk directly to auditing/accounting that froze my acct, and not notifying me what was happening when my account was frozen. An email or call saying your acct is frozen would of been helpful.
I strongly agree w/the OP here. We all give loyalty to Marriott because of these benies now and the future. If I get to my lifetime platinum after years of hard work, only to find that a single marriott property because of a disagreement w/me can just lock my account, that is very disturbing and makes me question my loyalty to this company. Was the CC dispute the wrong channel? Sure. But regardless of the issue, it sounds like a single chain can just freeze an account. They could give any reason they wanted and Marriott central would do nothing.
