There's a specific section for Trip Repots under the "Community" section for future reference. Many travelers have stated that there is little difference in "F" vs "J" with the soft product. The notable difference is personal space and improved seating (hard product).
I wouldn't expect to see 787's on any domestic route, except maybe for during the break-in stages of crew familiarity etc..
The speculation here (FWIW) pretty much leans towards:
AA 767-200 are likely the next aircraft to leave the fleet after MD 80s. The aircraft integrity is still pretty good, but the interiors need to have more consistent deep cleaning beyond whatever they are doing now. I give it 5 years before there starts to be major reliability issues with these or replacements come on line.
AA will likely reconfigure a handfull of 757s to 3-class for transcon service (even though these aircraft have possibly 10 years of service left) Also, a handfull of the 767-300s could be used.
Another possibility is a sub-fleet of 737 aircraft with 2-class configuration. Who knows if 3-class domestic service can hold up through time/change/economy. As stated, there isn't much difference now.
