I know that it's possible to redeem points/miles at basically any major hotel chain. But is there any program that covers bed & breakfasts, inns or smaller hotels? My wife and I often like to stay at such places when we travel. Obviously a given small hotel wouldn't be able to run its own program, but I wonder if there is maybe a network of them that is affiliated with a larger program, or if something like Amex MR or Chase Sapphire will let you redeem points there?
