airpass like solution for inner Europe flights
OK.... this should probably go into one of those low traffic forums but since I need to plan this right about now I will post it here where Im sure some of the resident EU gurus will be able to throw me a lifeline. Here is the deal.
I need to get an airfare solution that will take me from AMS to TLL (Tallinn, Estonia), then to MAD, and then back to FRA. Ive tried expedia and keep on getting $3000 fares, and after looking at EuropePass.com have found that they want you to buy it in conjunction to a US-Europe ticket.
I already have a ticket from USA to Europe, and would only be interested in buying some sort of pass that would give me the flexibility to fly to the above mentioned cities at a reasonable cost. Is there like a visit Europe by air voucher type deal that I can buy?
Also, does someone know how there vouchers work? Im assuming you can make reservations and have a confirmed seat, or do you have to fly on some sort of stand-by situation?
I was thinking of doing Star Alliance award travel, but I dont know if they allow open-jaw travel and/or offer multi country travel... I dunno, maybe Im overlooking a possible Star Alliance award option?
Thanks to all for your input/advice.
