Question re child's stroller

Hi

Travelling to Europe shortly and am unsure of whether we can keep access to our baby's stroller between flights (eg. so he can sleep).

We have flown before with him but it was one int'l flight each way, and we took the stroller to the gate (from where the crew had it put downstairs in the hold) and each time had to get it back at the luggage carousel. Am hoping we can get it after disembarking from each flight this time as we are doing 4 flights to get to our destination (BNE-SYD-SIN-LHR-AMS) and there is a fair bit of lounge time between some of those flights where he could sleep more comfortably in his stroller.

Unfortunately the stroller is too long to fit in a standard overhead locker when folded. But we are flying in J and F (long haul) so should we see if they can squeeze it in a cupboard somewhere on board? BNE-SYD is on a 767.

Maybe I need to call Qantas to see if I can arrange something. Would love to hear from anyone who's had the same issue or knows the anwser.

Cheers
