The LH lounges in BOS, there are two adjacent to each other, one for SEN and one for others, are before Security, and not airside. In Terminal E after check-in proceed up the stairs/escalators to the departure area. At the first landing take a left, walk down a the long hallway, overlooking the check-in area, to the end, go right, right again and downa short hallway, entrance on the left. I actually don't think that they're that bad, other than the location, the dark and closed-in feeling and the generally shabby furnishings. Not great, yes, but certainly not among the worst.
