ANA Cabin allowance and query about electronic items while flying

Seeking some advice from more experienced ANA travellers as I find myself a little confused by the information on the ANA website... I hope this is the right place to ask this question? I'm flying ecomomy.

For my cabin allowance the 10Kg and bag dimensions make perfect sense - but not sure about the following -

"Personal belongings such as handbags, cameras, glasses, etc, may be carried on in addition to the above limitation. "

Does this mean I could take a laptop bag or camera bag (with lenses, not just a single camera) as my personal belongings? On BA they are quite explicit as to the max dimensions of any handbag/ briefcase so was expecting ANA to give the same info...

Also, does the following mean that laptops and PDAs can't be used on the flight, or that they can be used as long as in offline mode with wireless disabled? What about my Kindle? If I can't use the Kindle it will be a very long 12 hour flight!

"Devices prohibited from use except when doors of the aircraft are open:

The following, which emit radio waves when turned on:
Cellular phones, PHS (Handy Phone System), Transceivers, Radio operated toys, Wireless headphones, Wireless earphones, Wireless microphones, Built-in battery type IC tags, Personal computers, PDA (Personal Digital Assistance), Wireless personal computer peripherals, Electronic games, Pedometer with wireless transmission function, Cardio tachometer with wireless transmission function, Wrist watches with wireless transmission function, Wireless keys"

Any help and advice greatfully recieved.
