It seems one can upgrade pretty much any TG fare class using TG ROP miles. Before booking my flights I just wanted to confirm: Is there a special upgrade fare class that needs to be available or are upgrades taken out of award inventory (presumably booking class I for business class)?

I.e. if I see award availability for TG business class, can be I be sure the upgrade (using a friendīs miles) would clear instantly?
