Lounges, showers, smoking...

A couple of lounge related queries:

LHR T3

From a search, people generally think that SQ is the nicest. I've done SQ and RCC, and SQ certainly wins over UA. However, which T3 *A lounges permit smoking? I seem to recall that SQ does, but my memory (and the air around me) is hazy...

Also, I traced through all the lounges on arrival threads, and understand that you will not be allowed in due to security legislation (apart from one FTer who went out through security and persuaded the guard to let him back in!).

So, if access to the UA arrivals lounge is not granted due to Y/upgrade status (despite obtaining an invite at the departure airport), and with Island shut, what is the showering opportunity when arriving at LHR T3?

EWR
Again, the smoking question. Also, the showering on arrival question (domestic transcon arrival). Anywhere?

LAX
Just smoking for this one. I'm guessing that California isn't going to be my best bet...

SFO
Ditto. Ditto.

Anyone else hunting for lounge info may found this site useful: https://www.quickbase.com/db/6vcfnaqu although it has no categories for smoking or showers.

Hoping there's another nicotine-addicted hygiene-freak out there...
