I agree that it's less comfortable, but the difference is not as much as I would have thought. This summer has been pretty mild, but last summer was v. uncomfortable in Boston. The big difference for me, working in universities, is that in BJ, there isn't much 'central air', so walking from one room to another is v. uncomfortable, whereas here they burn energy like it's going out of business.
Any thoughts on furniture
