Four Points Munich Central to:

- Sheraton Munich Westpark - 10 mins walk (did this hotel hop recently)
Westin Grand and Sheraton Arabellapark literally across the street from each other
... about 20min (short walk + subway) from these two to LM, and then as indicated above => Munich is by far my favourite MR destination (OK, the beer also plays a role)
Others that come to mind immediately:
- Leipzig (Westin - LC)
- Cologne (while it lasts, FP leaving soon): FP - LM Dom hotel
- Nuremberg (LM - Sheraton, one very busy street to cross but easy)
- Toronto (LM King Eddie - Sheraton Centre)
- Calgary (Westin - Sheraton Eau Claire)
- New York (Westin - W Times Square - Sheraton ... and maybe some more, haven't tried all properties)
- Sydney borderline: more than 5min I guess, but very easily walkable nonetheless (FP - Westin 5-10min, Westin - Sheraton same)
- Rome similar (StR - Westin - LM Eden): each more than 5min, but easily do-able
