I have been thoroughly appreciating all the advice posted on the forum . . . thankyou to all.

However I am now in a quandrary, as it looks like (from the links provided by khalid26) that I have inadvertantly picked the "worst seats" on the aircraft. Perhaps someone would be kind enough to advise whether this is actually so. A380 seats 23A & K on EK002 and on 777-200LR seats 7J & K on EK424. The flights are not until October so I still have opportunity to re-select, if you think these are really awful seats.
