Well I am still confused- but sitting up front

I was told many and varied stories today, but most settled on the fact that on the day of departure the wait list goes by medallion and fare status. So the g upgrades were at #1 (me) #8 (gold) #10 & 11(fo) for 10 seats with V scattered in between. What a cluster. Luckily the SC was able to get me some help from the ticketing counter.

If I hadn't been so adamant about the entire family being together I would have said don't bother with mileage I'll take my chances on v. Lessons for next time when the kids are a tad older.

I did use a few job well done certs for the SC agent and the ticket counter agent that came to the club to help.
