I haven't asked for anything, just sent them the note and asked them to follow up with me, basically.

I wouldn't expect a refund, though of course that's nice. lol. Actually, this was a business trip and if they refunded it would be to the company, so one of those cases where the effected party wouldn't actually be 'made whole' if you will. Points are good though.
