I decided to transfer them all into one account, I think it's just easier that way and more flexible being that you're not limited to just booking miles for people in the household account.

Tassojunior, I was able to transfer them to a different airmiles account even if the names don't match my Amex account. I've done that in the past as well with Continental. I think as long as the other person's account is LINKED in your AMEX MR account, it's fine and works. But thanks for the tip anyway, not to wait til the last minute. 2 days before is already getting to be last minute, should have done it sooner, so I don't stress out. But all is well now.

I didn't have miles in either one of our accounts, I just set them up the other day, so there was 0 miles in my wife's account...but what you said makes sense. Thanks.

So now I have 228000 miles in my one BA account.
