In terms of strictly navigating the airport from Gate A to Gate B, MSP is a nightmare. At least in ATL you know it's a pattern of "walk, train, walk". At MSP you first have to figure out the right series of turns (God forbid they set it up in a logical sequence of A-B-C-D-E like ATL), then you have to pray that the series of 8 moving walkways is working (because if they aren't, you just added 10 minutes to your hike).
I notice you left the "T" gates out of the "logical sequence" at ATL!

If you know the ins and outs MSP is workable but it is certainly far less intuitive or efficient than the ATL layout. If I lived in MSP I would love the airport but as a connecting passenger, not so much.
