JFK-ZRH (and ATL-ZRH) are both 767-300ER destinations. This aircraft does not currently have any in-seat entertainment options (except the first aircraft, N1608, to receive the new interior upgrades, but this aircraft hasn't yet returned to service).
I sympathize with your observation of the aircraft's condition. Delta is investing millions of dollars in product improvements company-wide, including this aircraft. The entire 763ER fleet will be receiving the updated interior progressively over the next year and a half or so. Check out this thread for pictures of the new interior:

Out of curiosity, did you book your travel through a travel agency or Delta.com? I just noticed that, despite the current equipment type on the route, the Delta.com booking engine shows the following erroneous entertainment options for economy class on this route: "Movies, TV shows, games, music and more -
on demand." Might be something to note to Delta if you decide to contact them through the formal channels since from your original post you seem to have expected a broader array of IFE options.
Sorry you were disappointed with Delta. Bare with them while cabin upgrades and product enhancements are rolled-out. ^
