Hi -- just tried to check in for my DCA - LGA Shuttle flight tomorrow and got a message telling me that my seat assignment would be given to me at the gate. On the intineray screen it says "Open Seating" under seat assignment, plus it says my UG was confirmed. Did open seating go by the wayside and I somehow missed that fact last week when I last took the Shuttle or is this some sort of technical glitch?
