Thanks for all the replies. Yes, the availability on that LH FRA-ICN flight kept coming & going. When I'd finally worked out how to use the route search engine on the *A website, I was stunned how many possible routes there were.

I'm now actually booked as follows :

MAN-CPH-BKK-ICN (SK/TG/TG)
ICN-YVR-DEN-ATL (AC/UA/UA)
ATL-IAD (UA)
IAD-MAN (BD)

I'm flying my wife to ATL & IAD using some BD miles, so we're having a long weekend in Washington. I'm still not quite at 10 days, but I seem to have got away with that.

A final question: According to BD's FF info, they don't give any points for D-class on TG. Is that really correct? Please tell me that other Star carriers do!

IMHO LH's Miles & More program is excellent. For D Class on any *A Carrier you'll get double miles (count as stutus too!). Once you make FTL (*A Silver) you'll get an extra 25% on top of that (So 250% of flown miles) - again all count as status.

Your routing would make you FTL with LH and get you around 60000 to 70000 miles.

Regards,
Alex
