The SQ NRT>SIN>MEL (rtn) should satisfy the United MP 'Intercontinental' requirement, shouldn't it?

This should indeed satisfy the UA promotion rules (as my LH FRA-JFK-FRA will). UA doesn't ask to 'ride' that intercontinental return trip on UA (just on 'the same' Star-partner').
