Thats what i thought. But then i read somewhere (on Australian govt site) that on a domestic leg of an international flight, same restrictions apply as on the international flight. What confused me was what rules would apply for that domestic leg (even if my SYD-MEL flight leaves from domestic terminal 3 and was booked together with the YVR-SYD flight as an entire YVR-SYD-MEL flight).
I mean i can carry 2 bags from YVR-SYD, would i be subject to domestic baggage allowance if i am getting my bags and re-checking them in?
