First post ever and hoping for advice about what credit card my daughter should apply for before she goes to England to study all of her junior year.(Sept to June).
We also haven't figured out the best way for her to get cash while there (ATM machines seem to have high charges per withdrawal, and students live on small budgets). She will want to buy cheap airfares to visit her friends in other European countries (or even train fares), and I would like her to learn how to accumulate miles/points etc.). I have learned a lot from this website the past few months and with all of my new credit cards, have been able to buy her plane ticket with Delta points (thanks to Am Xpress!).
