It's a Travelocity poll. Does the majority of people who stay in luxury hotels book through Travelocity? I think not. So the responses are skewed by those who do.
I pay no attention to sites like Travelocity, Tripadvisor (except for the pictures), Yelp, when it comes to luxury hotels and even dining. Heck, even the "luxury travel" magazines don't get a whole lot of creed with me.
Thankfully, a site like this one here at Flyertalk exists.
