In my opinion Jeff Smisek has taken my airline of choice Continental that I have flown for over 20 years and run it into the ground. What is going on? The smug smiling dude is rushing to down grade his service level to the lowest possible common denominator level ( i.e United's). That is what he means by
"aligning" the two carriers. Oh yes, in his video announcements he is very focused on the ( very important ) initiative they have taken, namely that they have repainted the planes. WOW, that is really a change I am gonna like ! !~ ) As you know, nothing is more important to airline executives than to have their preferred design and colors on the plane's tail and body.
