I am based in IST that is why I made that comment. It is a total different story if you are not based in IST, as TK becomes very competitive out their home base. In Istanbul unfortunately they are not competitive with fares therefore on all my trips to Europe I use LX and LH. I don't use long haul trip so I would not know.
