'RLOC' as in 'Record Locator' perhaps? - I still can not believe you said Globaliser was wrong with 'Locator'.

The term "PNR" also stands for the alpha-number code assigned with the PNR. So, if asked for the PNR, you could supply something like PSR2Y3 and it would be a vail response.
In practical usage "PNR" is used to refer to the reference for the PNR, but I dispute the way you have expressed that. Strictly speaking it is not. But in practical usage, " PNR reference/locator/'number' " has been shortened to "PNR".

Whenever I have had to look something up, I would normally ask for the "relock", I might have occasionally asked for the "PNR", but I have certainly never EVER asked for the "PNR locator".
In practice, I have *never* heard 'relock' used - outside of heavy system database maintenance environments.
However, in practice, I have heard 'PNR locator' used, and I reasonably frequently hear 'locator' used.

Although , booking reference is by far the most common.

But I still can't see how you can say Globaliser was wrong with 'locator' as being another valid term, yet claim 'RLOC' is valid.
