If it is allowed, then just book the return trip DUB - CGK and then call the SQ to ask them to help you change the flight so that you could make a stop over.
I'm finding this a hassle myself. If you have to call anyway, why don't they say so on their website? And if you have to call anyway, why should you make reservations online that have to be changed?
