Then when you arrive you can finalize your plan. ---Another would be when you arrive in BJ and use a van service, inquire as to the driver's rate (you will have had a taste of their driving skills & seen the condition of the vehicle) and again the doormen staff can translate and negotiate with & for you.

I try to remember my own tips for future use. With the involvement of the doormen, I still need to be alert to write down destination, cost, pertinent mobile phone numbers, name, license number. More often than not, the doormen have been pro-active for me.
