The CDN card doesn't have the $200 airline credit or 0 forex fees. If it was like the US Platinum, I would def upgrade.

I use the gold myself, since I don't need the SPG status or expanded lounge acess. The gold offers double points on gas, travel, groceries and drug stores. That's working well for me.
