Yup I cannot wait. I cannot wait until all the brouhaha comes to an end. It's not enough that
people have been asked to scale back their travel on the Tube during the Games, which I
understand (the Central Line barely functions well on a Friday evening never mind with an
additional xxx thousand people using it). But, not a single Olympic Game has made a profit or
made a sustainable long-lasting benefit to the host city. As far as I am concerned, the IOC
is nothing more than an organised crime syndicate dictating what host cities can and cannot
do when they are not footing the bill with the illusion that 'we' can use 'their' copyrights and
trademarks.
