We regret the inconvenience this may cause.
I sent them a tersely worded expression of my disappointment. I had shifted all non-airline/gas/dining/grocery (aka, double mile earning) expenses to this card from my MP Plat Visa, will probably send a lot of it back now.
I got the same reply, word-for-word. Oh well. Worth a shot.
